For the release of the Big Wave Beach update, we went back to the days of Beach Blanket Bingo and stormed the beach with a brood of zombies hanging ten. Especially fun was working with Josh Myers to create the custom soundtrack.
Plants vs. Zombies – Crazy Dave’s Rap Video.
Check out the next big hip-hop sensation, Cray-Z, with his soon-to-be hit single "Wabby Wabbo." It was a blast to create the assets, work with the composer on the lyrics for the song and art direct this video for the Playstation release of PvZ.
Zombie Head - Paper Maché
Plants vs Zombies was released with a very modest $12,000 marketing budget. This forced us to resort to some resourceful solutions for launch. This paper maché head served us very well for appearances at Pax and Comic Con.
Stop Zombie Mouth!
PopCap teamed up with the American Dental Association to Stop Zombie Mouth! The music video was timed at 2 minutes, the amount of time the ADA recommends for brushing your teeth. I’m especially proud of the lyric, “Invite us to your gingivitis”.
